Hi everyone, I was wondering if it is possible to receive
internet from the IPSTAR
satellite anywhere in the
Simpson desert or is the signal from this
satellite only focused on the more populated areas. Would appreciate hearing from anyone who has had experience in this area as we are doing a trip in the Simpson late in August and a friend of
mine is keen to still be able to get his
internet through Skymesh.

Looks like we need a bigger dish for the desert than the standard size one used in the cities.
